At Lunas Beads & Glass, we offer a variety of interesting and educational classes that we think you will enjoy. On this page we will show you some of the great classes that we offer. Morningstar Earrings

Not only a name for the planet Venus in the east just before daybreak, this name also refers to a beautiful, yet dangerous weapon carried by knights in the Middle Ages. Create your own Dangerous Beauty with guest instructor Megan Savors! Students will learn Flat Peyote Stitch to make the Tubular Beads, and basic Right Angle Weave to create the Crystal Cluster at the bottom.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner. Requires some knowledge of creating a Wrapped Wire Loop.
Class Fee: $45 and includes all materials.

This class is taught by Megan Savors. Megan, teaches bead weaving and has a repertoire of techniques & projects that she has prepared that will spur us into grander & higher beading experiences!

The class is 3 hours long and will be offered Saturday, August 1st, 12:30 - 3:30, at Luna's Beads & Glass, 416 Main St. in Frisco, Colorado.

Silversmithing Class

Skill level: Introductory/Beginner - Maximum Class Size: 10
Class Fee: $300.00

All stones, silver, supplies and tools furnished. You do not need to bring anything to the class. You will learn all the basics of Silversmithing and jewelry making. You will learn how to solder sterling silver. You will design a ring, make a bezel, solder the ring together including a 3 wire ring band.

Class dates are July 18 & July 19, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Each Day

Class is taught by Don Norris, a professional silversmith and teacher for over 30 years.

Each student will receive a FREE copy of the Beginning Silversmithing Class on CD! Over 500 of these have been sold over the internet and it has been compared to 3 years of jewelry making school!

BEADS, BEADS, BEADS!

Bead Stringing and Dangles on Headpins
If you know how to wrap a headpin. If you know how to crimp a bead. You don't need this class. Making jewelry is not hard. You just need to learn a few basic techniques. That's what this class is all about, the basics for bead stringing and dangles on headpins.

We will provide the materials for you to make a necklace, a bracelet, and even earrings.
$65.00, includes all materials.

Peyote Stitch Amulet Bag
Make an amulet bag with neck strap and hanging fringe. Learn to read and follow a pattern. Learn tubular, flat, and decreasing peyote stitch, which is sometimes referred to as gourd stitch all in one project.

Class Fee: $75.00, this is a 2 session class. *Materials $30+*
